Media release For immediate release Pup with only dried poo to play with and a dead rat to share her kennel At only 10 months old, German Shepherd cross Kelpie, Fam, has not had the best start to life. With barely enough food or water to survive this gorgeous pup has lived most of her life chained to a wire fence with an infested dog kennel. Fam was lucky enough to be saved by Doggie Rescue who are now seeking a loving home and family to give Fam the life she deserves. Despite such a cruel and lonely start to life, Fam has a remarkable character and craves human attention and affection. She becomes so overjoyed when offered the chance for a walk or game of fetch that she somersaults with glee. Doggie Rescue is a registered volunteer organisation with a strict ‘no-kill’ policy. It has saved over 8,000 dogs in the past eight years but is in desperate need of volunteers to help care for more than 100 homeless dogs. If you cannot volunteer time, Doggie Rescue is in need of some durable trampoline beds and small dog collars. To offer Fam a home call Doggie Rescue on 02 9486 3133 or visit www.DoggieRescue.com.
