 Dear Mr. Claus, Hey Santa, it’s Dora here. This year I've got a big list, but I've been good, I promise. All I want for Christmas is: Carpeting that doesn't bear the scars or stains of my recent house-breaking warfare. Dogsafe human clothing..... A warm summer - please Santa, no more mud and definitely no more thunderstorms!!! Doggie sweaters that fit and absolutely no more clothing presents (nor kids tents) from Aunty Rosie. A full time assistant for me to fill holes, scoop da poop, repair doggy damage, keep order and gather up the soft toys left outside. (then again, my devoted man-servant Dad does that for me already doesn’t he, I don’t want to be greedy!) A seamstress to mend all my dog toys (particularly ‘Little Champ’) awaiting repair. Massive acts of love, kindness and sanity by all animals (including humans). I want everyone who love dogs to do something nice for a local shelter or rescue. Take in treats or food, volunteer to walk a dog, cuddle a puppy... All pet owners to spay or neuter their pets so overworked shelter staffs can concentrate on the millions of homeless pets already in need. I want every lost pet to find their way home. I would like Barack Obama to adopt a rescue or shelter dog. I want every abused, neglected or abandoned pet to find a loving new home. Oh, I know it's a tall order Santa, but they say miracles happen at Christmastime...
