Cat & Canine Muscle Release Therapy (Bowen Therapy for Small Animals)

It is extremely important to understand that there are vast physical differences in the treatment of people and animals, and  I always  take great consideration in what therapy would be the best for each client.

Because of these differences, CCmrt (Cat & Canine Muscle Release Therapy) has been specifically developed with the understanding that cats and dogs are athletic in their daily lives and are subject to various traumas and tensions when carrying out the vigorous physical tasks that is often requested of them. 

If these stresses and strains continue without any relief, there will ultimately be a breakdown somewhere within the body.  This may result in long term problems which can affect the animals' overall behaviour.  Animal Bowen Therapy (CCmrt) can activate the relaxation response of the muscle and assist in the restoration of overall harmony and balance resulting in pain relief and the beginning of good health being restored. 

This particular therapy helps in correcting restrictions and misalignments in the fascia and tissue, ultimately restoring symmetry to the body at a musculo-skeletal level, freeing congestion, which in turns helps with circulation of nutrients and the removal of waste products from out pets body. 

Some common responses are :-

Relaxation - our pets may look like they have gained weight due to muscular relaxation.  Our pet appears to be calmer and more relaxed. 

Condition - The coat becomes silkier, softer and shinier with nutrition finally getting through to the skin.  

Attitude - Personalities may change due to our pet feeling better with less pain or muscle tightness.
